Applying to the Graduate Certificate Program
Minimum Requirements for Acceptance:
- Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree, preferably in health care administration or a health related discipline;
- A GPA of 2.5 or better.
Applying to the Program
Applications are accepted on a year round basis. If you are applying to begin the program in the Fall you must submit your application no later than July 1 and if you are applying to begin the program in the Spring you must submit y our application no later than November 1.
This program is designed for working professionals and in order to qualify for the program you will need to submit the following:
Step 1: Submit a post baccalaureate application, a $30 processing fee, and an official transcript of all previous college level work to the University of Florida Admissions Office.

Step 2: Submit the following to the program director:
- a short essay describing why you want to be in the program and what your future career aspirations are if you are excepted into the program
- a copy of current resume (including at least two years of work experience in a health related field)

Upon receipt of the post baccalaureate copy and personal statement you will be contacted by the program director with a confirmation that your application has been received and is being processed. Please note that once have completed the post baccalaureate application process all future communication should be directly between you and the GCM program administrative staff.
